Thank you for expressing interest in becoming a member of Mother of God's Parish Council! We are grateful for everyone who served in the last two years of 2021-2023 and are excited for those looking to serve in the next two years of 2023-2025. Mother of God is known for our "homey" feel and much of that begins when parishioners and guests walk in our doors. Our parish council is responsible for welcoming parishioners at the Church entrance as they come for mass, helping seat people at large events and masses, Sunday collections, running fundraising events (golf outing, fashion show, Christmas Party, and now Festival as well), and finding sponsors and donors to help fund events.

Members of the Parish Council must be willing and able to serve two masses a week and attend one mass a week. Council members must also be available to serve on major holidays and attend church activities. Parish council terms are from May 2023 - 2025.

We will begin scheduling interviews after reviewing all of the applications. If we do not reach out to you for an interview and you are still interested in volunteering your time and talents, please reach out to the Church office for additional opportunities!
