HPN Symposium 2022 - Roundtable Participant Interest and Availability

If you're interested in ATTENDING the 2022 Humanities Podcast Network Symposium, please register on Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.com/e/humanities-podcasting-symposium-2022-tickets-388066155317. As an attendee you're welcome to participate in any and all sessions. All roundtable participants must also register on Eventbrite.

This form is to express your interest in participating in a Roundtable. Everyone is welcome to volunteer for a roundtable - you don't need to be a member of the Humanities Podcast Network or to have participated in previous HPN events.

Sessions will be 1 hour long, divided into two half-hour sections. The roundtable participants will use the first 30 minutes to start the conversation in a roundtable format, and in the second 30 minutes they will open the discussion to all attendees, moderated by one of the participants.

If you volunteer, we'll put you in touch with the other participants for that topic (2-4 people). If you'd like to put on a roundtable with other specific people, you can mention this below - otherwise we'll group you with people based on shared interests.

Each group of participants will collectively plan the opening 30 minutes of their session. The format and content is up to you, but we suggest some kind of roundtable discussion rather than formal presentations. Each group will also choose one person to moderate and guide the questions in the second half of the session.

Overall, we hope these sessions will explore questions of interest to those who create, listen to, and teach with humanities podcasts, allow people to exchange tips and ask advice, and establish and strengthen connections within this community.
