Parent and Guardian Input - School Reopening
Parents and Guardians, we need your input.
Dr. Adrian Hammitte, Superintendent of Jefferson County School District, presented a plan to reopening schools on August 10, 2020. Although the District elected to reopen using the hybrid model, it reserved the right to make adjustments. The reopening plan considerations outlined multiple options. Two of the options include 1) hybrid schedule, allowing students to attend school two days per week for in-person instruction, and 2) distance learning using an online platform.
Please take a few minutes to complete this questionnaire to let us know which option would be a better option for your child(ren). Answering these questions will provide the District with valuable information to help refine the plans for reopening the school district. You WILL NOT be locked into an option. If you have more than one student, please fill in one (1) form for EACH child.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we continue to refine our plan for reopening based on data and guidance from federal, state, and local leaders. Please know that because the pandemic presents new challenges daily, the District plans could change quickly as more information is provided to us, and state and federal mandates are announced.
