Does your child struggle with social interactions? Have trouble making and keeping friends? Lack confidence in his/her communication abilities?

Social Skills Group can help! Dr. Adams is offering a 10-session group for 2nd and 3rd graders with social and communication deficits. Children’s Friendship Training is a research-based intervention consisting of simultaneous child and caregiver sessions. Your child will learn a new skill each session, practice in group, and be assigned at-home practice. Simultaneously, caregivers will learn the targeted skill and how to help, then serve as a coach for assigned practice.

Group will take place on Tuesdays, September 10 - November 19 (no session October 1), 4 to 5 PM.

A school excuse can be provided if your child needs to leave school early to attend.

The cost will be $100/week (including both child and parent sessions). A deposit of $400 is required to save your child's spot - this will cover the first four sessions of the group, with further payments billed weekly.

Groups will be limited to 8 children. Groups will not be held if fewer than 4 children are able to participate. (Deposit will be refunded if insufficient registrations.)

The first session will be considered a trial session for each child. If your child is ultimately deemed inappropriate for or disruptive to the group, Dr. Adams will let you know at the end of the first session and discuss other options with your family. (Deposit will be refunded if child is inappropriate to participate.)

After you complete and submit this form, please follow the instructions on the confirmation page to contact Dr. Hilary Adams to provide payment information for the $400 deposit.
