Southwestern Michigan Chapter of Jack and Jill Of America, Inc. Tuition Assistance Grant
Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization of mothers and children, ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty.

The Southwestern Michigan Chapter of Jack and Jill, Incorporated has created one Community Service Tuition Assistance Grants for African American high school seniors. The goal of the scholarship is to celebrate the success of youth who are passionately involved in community service throughout Southwestern Michigan (including the counties of Berrien, Branch, Cass, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, and Van Buren).

This prestigious tuition assistance grant will acknowledge the fine efforts of local African-American high school seniors who embrace the spirit of diversity, while being energetically and enthusiastically engaged in community service, community projects, and other community-based activities.  The Southwestern Michigan Chapter of Jack and Jill of America will issue one $500.00, non-renewable, tuition assistance grant to high school seniors residing in Southwestern Michigan (Jack and Jill children are ineligible). In the event of a tied score, the proceeds will be divided equally amongst grant applicants.  The tuition assistance grant will be presented in June during the Annual Joint Scholarship Celebration.
