We would love for you to join us this year in so many of the fun activities planned for our kids. Please come be a part of making a difference in the lives of our students! We welcome parents, grandparents, etc.! We thank you so much!

McKinney ISD requires
that all volunteers complete this process each school year and it can take up to two weeks to process.

Some of our volunteer opportunities are listed below. Please sign up for any areas of interest. The PTA or the Grade Level Coordinator will be in touch to let you know when opportunities are available.

General Volunteer- If you’d like to volunteer but not really sure what to sign up for, click here!
Staff Appreciation- Help the PTA in saying thank you to our wonderful staff. Participants help to provide for regular staff events, prepare dishes for special occasions, and assist during Staff Appreciation Week.
Monster Mash (October)- Help plan, decorate, and execute event.
Shop & Share (December)- Eddins collects gifts to donate to Finch Elementary, our sister school in McKinney. We need assistance counting, organizing, and transporting gifts to Finch.
Library Volunteer- Help throughout the school year with reading, filing, and assisting the librarian. Also helps with book fair set up, tear down, assisting children, and processing orders.
Laminating- Help with laminating jobs throughout the school year.
Discovery Days- Help cafeteria staff pass out healthy snacks for students to try during lunch.
Carnival (April 5)- Our biggest fundraiser of the year! Volunteers are always needed to man unfilled booths, help with preparations leading up to the date, as well as set up and tear down. This event also needs people to help solicit donations and sponsorships from local and national businesses for the auction.

2nd Grade Holidays Around the World (December)
Class Holiday Parties (December & February)
Room Mom/Dad- You would be working with the Grade Level Coordinator to plan all classroom parties or any volunteer opportunities that come up. You'd be in communication with the parents to fill spots that teachers may need filled for parties or classroom duties.
