Information about the Home School Band Program of Central Illinois

2 FREE Programs Now available for Home School Musicians

1.) Regular Band Class currently meets on Friday's 12:30 - 1:30 @ Broadway Christian Church in Mattoon, IL.
     *Students must pass beginner winds/brass class, take music lessons or pass an audition to participate.

2.) Beginner Winds/Brass class will meet 1:30 - 2:00 on Friday's after Regular Band.
      *This is for beginners or current band members that would like more experience on basic notes and skills.        
      *Limited to Wood Wind and Brass Instruments only.  
      *Instrument required to participate.

Home School Students Ages 8 (or mature 7)  to 18 may participate.  

Instruments are required.  Check with Director Chris Keniley about purchasing or acquiring a wind/brass instrument.   Instruments will also need to be serviced/cleaned/inspected to set students up for success.  

Violin/Percussion/Acoustic Guitar students may participate.  Must be able to read music (bass cleff/treble cleff) and pass audition..

Do you need help locating/purchasing/renting and instrument?  I also have a selection of wood wind and brass instruments available at my teaching studio (Chris K Music) and can help located instruments to repair.  ***Note I do work with home school families with prices and payment plans if needed****
