Actonians Girls 2023-24 Players Code of Conduct
We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behaviour in the game.

As a player, you have a big part to play.  That’s why we are asking every player to follow a Respect Code of Conduct.

When playing football, I will:

·       Set myself high standards to play at the best of my ability and with discipline in both training and matches.

·       Be on time to training and matches and I will contact the coach/team manager before the agreed meeting time if I’m going to be late.

·       Show pride in myself and club by wearing correct and clean kit (including shin pads & boots) for training and matches.

·       Respect every person I meet within the game.  I will treat each person equally and I will never engage in offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour at training, at matches or online.

·       Try to be positive in every contribution I make to the club.  I understand that I am representing the club at all times in my football, personal and online life.

·       Play fairly – I won’t cheat, complain or waste time.

·       Play by the rules as directed by the referee and respect their decisions.

·       Be a good sport, recognising good play whether by your own team or the opposition.

·       Shake hands with the other team and the referee at the end of the game.

·       Listen to the coach/team manager and always respect what he/she says.

·       Talk to someone I trust or the club welfare officer if I’m unhappy about anything at my club.

·       Play for “fun” not just to please your parents or coach.

·       Be proud to play for Actonians LFC Girls.
