The Office of Research Services (ORS) is hosting a York Research Chairs (YRC) Information Session in conjunction with the launch of the 2019-2020 competition. The YRC program mirrors and complements the Canada Research Chairs program, and recognizes researchers who have demonstrated excellence in research and scholarship and have made, or are poised to make, substantial contributions to research leadership.

The session will provide an overview of the nomination process, including changes to this year’s competition, and provide insights for developing effective nominations. Potential nominees and those involved in the nomination process are encouraged to attend.
