How it Works:

Complete this form indicating your participation in the program.  The CLLA will provide a spreadsheet of all the participating residents the day before the event.  This will be e-mailed to all those on the CLCC distribution list as well as posted on the Cedar Lake Residents Facebook Page and Cedar Lake Community Club Facebook Page.  We will also place a few printed copies in the bulletin boards around the lake.  You must complete this form by June 9th in order to be included on the spreadsheet.

Begin gathering items from around your house; stuff that’s too good to throw out but you are ready to pass on to a lovely neighbor!

On the day of the event, June 11th, items are to be placed out on your property either on your driveway, lawn, or by the road on the day of the event.  Local residents can then walk or drive around the lake during the event hours to "shop" your goods.  Please ensure all items are on your property and do not block any roadways or thoroughfares.

The owner is responsible for any leftover goods at the end of the event.  The CLLA/CLCC/CLPO will not be responsible for anything left out.  We will however include a list of some local organizations that accept donations with the participant spreadsheet.  The owner will be responsible for contacting any organizations and arranging pickup or delivery.

Remember, the purpose of this event is to give your old stuff a second chance and keep things out of the landfill.    Free participation is voluntary and open to all Cedar Lake residents.  If you do choose to participate please do so within the spirit of the event.
