Fort Collins Hike to the "A" from Maxwell Natural Area

The hike is a 4.1 mile round-trip hike with 565 ft of elevation gain. We will meet at 9 AM at the parking area at the Maxwell Natural Area. There are restrooms at the parking lot...so please come early to be ready to start our hiking at 9:00 AM MT. To get to the trailhead, drive west of Fort Collins, to Overland Trail Road. Follow Overland Trail near Hughes Stadium, and along the south side of the stadium, look for Dixon Canyon Road, to the West. Take this road west for less than a mile and look for the sign on the right that says: Maxwell Natural Area...then turn Right into the parking area.
