ACCESS Testing 2021- 4th and 5th Grade
Dear Families of York Center 4th and 5th Graders,

The ACCESS test is the annual assessment for all K-12 English Learners (ELs) in the State of Illinois.  ACCESS scores are used to assess student progress and proficiency in English as well as to help determine placement in the EL program the following school year.

Your child is scheduled to take the ACCESS assessment on:

Wednesday 4/14 from 8:15 am- 10:30 am
AND
Friday 4/16 from 8:15 am- 10:30 am

Please confirm whether or not you will be bringing them to York Center for testing below.   Contact us if your child qualifies to ride the bus and will need bus transportation on those days.  Students will be spaced 6 feet apart and be required to wear masks.  Students will bring their own Chromebooks for testing.   All safety protocols identified here will be followed: https://sites.google.com/d45.org/updatedreturntoschool/more-info/health-and-safety-guidance?authuser=0

Thank you,
