General Event Information
Falls Creek Resort Management (FCRM) is keen to encourage third party operators to host events within the resort in order to support local business operators and create a vibrant village atmosphere. Our priority is to encourage participants of events to stay within the resort to provide economic benefit to these operators and to visit the wide range of retail and hospitality operators in Falls Creek.

Falls Creek Resort Management (FCRM) is responsible for all Land Management issues within the Falls Creek Alpine Resort (the Resort). The entire area of the Resort is managed Crown Land. In order to adequately manage the land and to ensure FCRM is appropriately indemnified against any potential liability; Leases, Licences and Authorities are issued by FCRM for events. Anyone wishing to conduct an event or activity (regardless of profitability) in Falls Creek Alpine Resort needs to operate under an official Lease, Licence or Authority. In order to issue the required Authority FCRM has to understand the details of specific operational aspects of the event.

To lodge your event application, please complete all areas of this form.

Upon receipt of your event application; FCRM will contact you to discuss the availability of your requested site and to identify any further information that may be required in order to process your event application.  

Please allow a minimum of eight (8) weeks for the processing of your event application.  A longer period may be required for major events.  Submitting an event application does not guarantee that your event will be approved.  When reviewing your application FCRM will consider the suitability of the proposed location for the event and confirm that the proposed activity is permitted under the host park’s regulations.

Subject to your event application being approved, an event permit will be issued for your event by the FCRM CEO. Permit fees may applicable. Additional costs incurred by FCRM to facilitate your event may be added to the event fee.
