WQED Film Academy is excited to share our fourth annual Film & Media College Fair for students interested in pursuing film, digital media, and/or content creation in-person on Thursday, October 13th from 5pm-7pm and virtually on Monday, October 17th from 4pm-7pm.

For the In-Person Fair on Thursday, October 13th, students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty from programs in which they're interested. The fair will take place at the WQED Headquarters, located at 4802 Fifth Street, Pittsburgh, PA, 15213.

Virtual Details

The 4-6PM time slot will be reserved for students to peruse the colleges, each in their respective breakout room, for group discussion where they can ask questions and get to know more about each school and their programming.
Schools will provide brief overviews of their school and program prior to breakout rooms being opened.
Schools will provide short videos for the students to watch ahead of time to narrow their list, familiarize themselves with their programs, and come prepared to ask questions. These videos will be included on our website and will be uploaded a few weeks before the event.
The last hour will be reserved for Film Academy alumni and current college students to come together to chat with high schoolers in a peer-based Q&A session.
