2024 SICTC Career and College Fair

Timeline:
Morning session (1st-year students):  7:50 am – 9:50 am
High school student dismissal: 10:00 am  - 10:15 am
Break/Lunch: 10:15 am - 11:30 pm
Afternoon session (2nd-year students):  11:45 am – 2:00 pm
High school student dismissal: 2:10 pm  - 2:25 pm

Cost:
$50, check made to SICTC

We are asking your organization to dontate $50 to attend this event.  These monies will help fund professional development for teachers, students traveling for Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSOs) competitions, and other related requests.  It is not required to attend, but it would be appreciated. Checks can be made payable to SICTC and dropped off on the day of the event.  

The 2024 SICTC Annual College and Career Fair will give you the opportunity to talk to over 900 juniors and seniors from 22 programs that the Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center offers.  Last year our students earned over 3200 dual credits, over 300 industry certifications, and almost 300 internship/job rotations.  These students are looking for their next steps in the college and career pathway.

SICTC will provide an 8 foot Lifetime table, 2-4 chairs, water and coffee.

Our computer science/software development course is developing a website that will compile a website for our students to see who all is attending the fair.  Part of the college/company's template that we are building includes a description of the organization.  We would like for you to provide a short 3-5 sentence description of your organization that you are representing.  This will help our students prepare for their time at the College and Career Fair.

Would your organization like to stay for our Open House that runs from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. that evening?  Our Open House attracts sophomores who are considering attending SICTC.  On average, we see about 300 families attend this event.
