Accommodations are available to any Duquesne student. Students who want to live on campus during the summer sessions are not required to take classes. Duquesne University's Living Learning Centers are air-conditioned and provide convenient accommodations for your summer plans.
Reservations for summer housing should be made with the Office of Residence Life located in Assumption Hall, (412) 396-6655. Reservations will not be accepted beyond FRIDAY, JULY 30, 2021. Any changes to a student's stay must be approved by the Associate Director of Residence Life. Reservations are made on a weekly basis beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday.
If you should decide not to live on campus, you must notify the Associate Director of Residence Life in writing at least one week prior to your specified arrival date to avoid additional charges.
Any student wishing to apply for a free room during the summer session, must have their academic advisor email the student's summer class schedule to
orl@duq.edu. Eligible students will not be charged a room fee (double room only) during the time in which they are registered for classes.
All new freshmen and transfer students are eligible for free housing if they are registered for classes.
Returning students are eligible for free housing if they:
• Have been registered for classes during the Spring 2020 Semester.
• Resided on campus for the Spring 2021 Semester or have deposited to live on campus for the Fall 2021
Semester.
• Must be registered for a class that earns university credit.
** Please note, international students who meet all other criteria do not need to be registered for classes.
The Summer Plus Dining plan is required of all students residing in summer housing. The cost of this plan is $100 per week for the duration of a student's summer housing agreement. Any unused summer Plus will be carried into the Fall 2021 semester. For more information, locations, and hours of operation, please visit
