ROSEVILLE YOUTH SOCCER CLUB

Registration typically occurs in April & May, and our season runs from mid-August to the middle of November.  Games typically begin the weekend before of after Labor Day.  The season is planned with 10 league games.  The U6-U8 age groups all play only against other Roseville teams and therefore all games are on local fields.  The U9 through U14 age groups will play other local clubs such as Rocklin, Lincoln, Loomis, and Granite Bay.  The U15 thru U19 age groups play in the NorCal Recreational League that is governed and run by NorCal Premier and typically travels a bit further away.  Each team generally has five home and five away games in the season.  There is also a mid-season break where an optional tournament is played typically the first weekend in October. 

Recreational Schedules
Generally speaking the schedule is approximately as follows, and the exact schedule can be found on the registration page of our website when available

  • March- May 31: Fall season registration.  
  • Late July: Coaches meeting and information available on team placement.  (Coaches will begin contacting teams after this date)
  • Mid-August: Practices begin (most age groups.  Super Rec U15+ may be sooner)
  • Last Saturday in August: First game (most age groups.  Super Rec U15+ may be sooner)
  • Labor Day weekend: No soccer
  • Early October: Mid season break  & At The Break Tournament
  • Mid-November: Last scheduled game
  • Saturday before Thanksgiving: Hold date for makeup games if necessary due to smoke, high temperature, or rain cancelations earlier in the season

Game schedules are typically released the Monday before the first game. We do not have information about game times or locations until then.

ROCKLIN FC

Rocklin FC Recreational Soccer provides Rocklin youth the opportunity to learn and play the game of soccer.  The program is a volunteer run  program and open to boys and girls born between the years of 2005-2018.  The season consists of 10 games starting in late August and approximately 2 practices a week starting in August.

TEAM SELECTION

Teams are comprised through the consideration of many factors. They are primarily, but not limited to:

  • Age
  • Returning to previous year’s team
  • School child attends
TEAM ROSTERS

Each coach shall keep with him/her an official team roster listing all active players for that season.
The following roster minimum / maximums will be followed:

  • U6 - U8: 8 players maximum (4 on the field)
  • U9 - U10: 14 players maximum (7 on the field)
  • U11 - U12: 18 players maximum (9 on the field)
  • U13 and up: 18 players maximum (11 on the field)

No team roster will be changed without prior approval from the Club Registrar. Amended rosters will be sent out to the head coach once a change has been authorized. This includes, but is not limited to, any add, transfer or removal of players or coaches. 

TEAM NAMES

No team name can be changed after official rosters have been handed out. Team names are chosen prior to the beginning of the season. No duplicate names shall be used in the Club. This allows for clarification in all club information which names are used (schedules, pictures, sponsorships, etc.).

PRACTICE

Practice begins in early August and will be held at a park or school in Rocklin. Practice times, days, and locations will be requested by coaches and determined by the Club. Players will be contacted by August 1st directly by their coaches regarding practice times and locations. Players are unable to request a certain practice time or location at time of registration as these are assigned directly to coaches after the rosters have already been finalized. Most coaches practice twice per week on a weeknight 4, 5, 6 or 7pm. Some coaches go to only one practice per week once games start, and some stop practicing during week near or after daylight savings time. Older teams may decide to continue to practice twice per week throughout.

GAMES

Games

Soccer games are held on Saturdays, beginning in August and run through November.  After the first five games there is a break weekend and then five more games. Most games will be played in Rocklin, Roseville, Loomis, Granite Bay and Lincoln. 

UNIFORMS

We have a new uniform ordering system this season.  We have moved our process to ProTime Sports. It is an easy site to navigate and they were able to secure THE EXACT SAME UNIFORM as we have used the last two seasons. We were also able to lock in the same pricing as Kombat. So far it seems like a win-win. The only hiccup we forsee is that in order to guarantee your uniform in time for pictures and the start of the season, YOU MUST ORDER YOUR UNIFORM BY 7/25/24…NO LATER!!

• If you are a returning player and already have the uniform bundle – royal blue jersey, white jersey, black shorts and black socks, you are set unless you need new sizes or replacement pieces.

• If you are new to the Rocklin FC rec program – please order the uniform bundle - royal blue jersey, white jersey, black shorts and black socks.

• If you need replacement pieces, individual items are available.

Rec players born in 2010 and later can choose any number they want. It is okay if players on the same team have the same jersey number.

The site also has some great and reasonably priced SPIRITWEAR! You can find t-shirts, sweatshirts, tanks and more. Sizes are available for your player or you (your player’s biggest fan)!

  • Early Registration Between - 3/17/2024 - 4/1/2024 - $189
  • Regular Registration Between - 4/2/2024-5/31/2024 - $199 
  • Late Registration Between - 6/1/2024 - 6/26/2024 - $215

  • Families will receive a $50 discount when registering 3 players or more.

* All registration fees THIS YEAR WILL INCLUDE $30 worth of raffle tickets. Players will receive tickets directly from Team Manager in August and you may choose to retain tickets or sell for $10 per ticket to recoup funds.

Due to new league rules we will not be able to register any players beyond the 6/26 deadline. 

WHEN REGISTERING

In order to complete the registration correctly, please note the tips below.

 * An updated photo (no sunglasses, hats or other people in the picture) will be required.  It is best to have a digital photo ready to upload when you register.

* A verified birth certificate or passport will be required to play with Rocklin FC.   It is best practice to have A DIGITAL COPY ready when registering for the season.

* List friend and coach requests on your registration.  Please note that requests will be considered but are not guaranteed.

ROCKLIN FC REC REFUND POLICY

The registration fee* (less a $15 admin fee) will be refunded for any reason up until May 15th. 

Partial Refund: The registration fee*, minus $30 will be refunded for requests made from May 16th to June 15th. 

No Refund: No refunds will be made for requests after June 15th.

To request a refund submit an email to the registrar at rec@rocklinfc.org. 

Please allow 48 hours for processing refunds. 

*Please note if you registered during the late registration period, the late fee charge is not refundable, only the registration fee portion of your payment.
