Aerialize & Legs on the Wall Creative Development
This year Aerialize is collaborating with Legs on the Wall to begin the development process on a new work of contemporary circus and physical theatre as part of Sydney Fringe Festival.

The Concept: Glass Widows
Glass Widows is a term that refers to women who have fallen in love with and marry people who have been incarcerated, this development will explore the emotional and physical struggle of these women. This stage of the development will be a female driven perspective and narrative, facilitated by Artistic Director of Legs on the Wall Joshua Thomson and Dramaturg & co-Director Caroline Craig.

We are seeking expressions of interest from Aerialize advanced students and instructors who would like to be involved as a performer/collaborator. As this is a female driven perspective we will initially be looking at working with 4 women over the age of 18 for this initial stage of the development.

The creative development will be held at Aerialize 21st- 25th September 2020 10am - 4pm daily and will have 3 public showings Friday, Saturday and Sunday 25th - 27th September 2020 as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival.

If you would like to be considered for this opportunity please fill our this form. If you have any questions please contact Michael Sieders on 8964 6135 or manager@aerialize.com.au

Applications Close: Midnight - Friday 26th June 2020
