Program Time:
Monday-Thursday from 2:30-6:00 p.m. and Friday from 2:30-4:30
(Start times will vary depending on when your child/children’s school day ends.)

Location:
Westwood Opportunity Center (855 S Irving St, Denver, CO 80219)

Program Overview:

Academic Development
- After-school career exploration courses – Air & Space, Architecture & Construction, The Arts, Business & Entrepreneurship, Civics & Government, Computer Science, Engineering & Mathematics, Environmental Science, Finance, Health & Wellness, Media & Entertainment, and more!
- Tutoring – academic interventions offered through homework support and targeted academic instruction
- Mentoring – partnership with a strong positive role model who will partner with a mentee to see their potential and achieve their dreams

Emotional Wellness Development
- Daily social-emotional skill-building and mindfulness activities
- Optional opportunity to participate in one-on-one mental health therapy sessions
- Optional opportunity to participate in therapeutic groups, as needed, focused on a variety of topics (grief, anxiety, divorce, etc.)

College & Career Development
- Exposure to different types of post-secondary programs through virtual exploration and campus visits
- Exposure to different career pathways through guest speakers, company visits, and exploration courses

Systems Advocacy
- Weekly check-ins between Colorado “I Have A Dream” Foundation team member, youth, and family to identify any areas of support
- Opportunity to be a part of our Youth Advisory Council or our Family Advisory Council
- Service learning projects
- Monthly learning and development courses for family members based on your requests
- Resource connection
