Reproductive (In)justice and the Courts: A Teach-in, Part II
Monday, November 8, 2021, from 12:00-1:00pm, Room NT08 (NOTE THE ROOM CHANGE)

On Nov. 1, the Supreme Court of the United States heard oral arguments challenging the constitutionality of the new Texas abortion law (SB8) —one brought by the Biden Justice Department-- and a second brought by abortion providers in Texas.  The Texas law has been allowed to stay in effect, including by the Supreme Court, despite questions of its constitutionality. Please join the Women and the Law Program and the WCL Chapter of If-When-How for a rapid response conversation with WCL Professors Beske, Kraiem, Manian, and Wermiel as they break down the oral arguments and look ahead.
