RSVP for Spring Green Infrastructure 101 Workshops
The Water Wise Green Infrastructure 101 Workshop provides an introduction to how green infrastructure can be implemented on your property to help reduce flooding! Green Infrastructure topics that will be discussed include: rain gardens, french drains, permeable pavers, bioswales, rain barrels, etc.

Hosted by: Water Wise Gulf South, Greater Treme Consortium, Bunny Friend Neighborhood Association and Healthy Community Services

The agenda of the Green Infrastructure 101 Workshop is as follows:

-An introduction to New Orleans Drainage System

-Grey vs Green Infrastructure

-Assessing your Property for Green Infrastructure

-How to properly install green infrastructure

Thursday, May 14, 6-7:30pm Virtually!

Water Wise is recruiting Water Wise Neighborhood Champions in Treme, 7th Ward, the Upper 9th Ward and the Citywide cohort. The Green Infrastructure 101 Workshop is a mandatory training to become a Water Wise Neighborhood Champion! Other mandatory trainings include: the Green Infrastructure Tour and Visioning Session.
