Kiva 2024-25 New Student Application (request for open enrollment)
Dear Families,
 
We are honored by your interest in Applying for enrollment at Children's Kiva Montessori Charter School K-8 for the 2024-25 School Year! 

Please complete one application form per student (either online or paper, not both). Calls, emails, and/or texts to offer available seats will be made as seats become available from now until September 26, 2024. Please watch for communications! We will do our best to reach you asap.

Just to make you aware, no matter how many applications we receive, EVERY application must be accepted with students immediately getting added to our waitlist in the order they are received each year. However, we only review applications once we have a confirmed opening in that grade level. Then, applicants are notified based on the date and time of application submission, and/or priority placement qualification (sibling of returning student, child of current staff member, or child of BOD member, or founding member of school). 

By completing this form, as the parent/guardian of the student named, I understand:
  • Open enrollment applications must be renewed each year, and the waitlist does NOT carry over from one year to the next. 
  • Each application's consideration is contingent upon a student's family providing all required documentation within the allotted timeframe, and their ability to provide their own transportation to and from the school. 
  • Enrollment of one child does not guarantee the enrollment of siblings.
  • There must be an opening in the child's grade level to be considered for enrollment.
  • Enrollment is open to any child who resides within the school district (children residing outside the district may also be considered if enough open seats are available).
  • Enrollment decisions shall be made in a nondiscriminatory manner, prohibiting discrimination on the basis of disability, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, ancestry, or need for special education services.
  • Open enrollment is guided by Re-1 Policy JFBA, JFBA-R. Any denials are guided by Denial of Admission, C.R.S.22-33-106 and Title 22: Education, School Districts, Article 33: School Attendance Law Of 1963 and JF-E*.
