Robert Yang Computational Tutorial Signup Form
Tutorial date: August 12, 1:00 - 3:00 pm EST
This virtual tutorial led by Dr. Robert Guangyu Yang, titled "A practical guide to using Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) for cognitive neuroscience", will be hosted over zoom. Signup is required to organize breakout rooms.
In this tutorial, there will be a 30 minute talk followed by a hands-on workshop using a Google Collab notebook, we will work together through a number of coding exercises to see how RNNs can be easily used to study cognitive neuroscience questions. We will train and analyze RNNs on various cognitive neuroscience tasks. Familiarity of Python and basic knowledge of Pytorch are assumed, but breakout rooms will be composed in order to best assist all levels. NOTE: Synchronous participation is expected for attendees, and the session will be recorded and posted along with previous tutorials on the CBMM and Tutorial Series webpage.
