In order to participate in these sessions and for insurance purposes, Rowan's Law: Concussion Safety, etc., participants MUST register in the OVA's Membership Registration System (MRS OVA Registration Link).

If you are new to the OVA, played in previous seasons, or registered as a Tryout player for this season, the next step is to register as an INDOOR player. The cost should be $97.15.

MRS

For insurance purposes, Rowan's Law: Concussion Safety, etc., your child must be registered with the OVA in their MRS system (see link above). In order to do so, you will need an email address that DOES NOT INCLUDE an "_" (underscore). We suggest that you make a unique email address for this purpose, especially if you have more than one child. You cannot use the same email address for another child. Keep in mind, the unique email address rule applies to everyone.

MRS User ID Reminders

When creating your membership profile, please remember MRS will not accept email addresses that contain underscores. This is not uncommon as many new systems won’t read and/or accept addresses with underscores in them.

The MRS system uses a member’s email address as their user ID, so each member must have a unique email address to register. If parents have more than one child and would like to have all OVA/MRS emails and correspondence directed to them, their MRS account can be set up with each of their children’s email addresses as the usernames while the parent’s email can be entered as the contact email. Alternatively, Gmail accounts provide the ability to set up several unique Gmail email addresses that will all go to one home account by adding “+1” (or “+2” or “+3”, etc.) to the end of the email address. For example, OVAtest@gmail.com will receive all emails using OVAtest+1@gmail.com or OVAtest+2@gmail.com, etc. Parents can use these types of Gmail account variations as the user IDs for multiple children in MRS.

The online registration link will be located on the OVA’s Become a Membe r page along with a comprehensive series of How to Guides to help members navigate the new system.

When you are first registering in the MRS, please note that we are in Region 5. Please take a screenshot of the final step or the checkout/confirmation page and send it to us. If you registered in previous seasons, you still have to register for the current season (2023-2024). Registration for the 2023-2024 season begins September 1, 2023.

When you register for a role, please register your child as an INDOOR player.

We will add them to our roster so that they are covered under our insurance. If you do not get any receipt or email or forgot to take a screenshot at the initial registration step, please let us know the information that you registered them under: first name, last name, address, email address, etc.
