What is a Virtual Cup of Coffee?

The Commonwealth Alliance of Youth Workers Associations Coffee Trials are back for the 2022 International Youth Work Week!  
The theme this year is A Festival of Youth Work.

This will be taking place from the 7th-13th of November 2022.
The virtual coffee trials are a chance to enjoy a cup of coffee (or hot beverage of choice) with a youth worker from another country. These meetings will go for approximately 30 minutes at an agreed time between both individuals.
These meetings are a great opportunity to band together and share your experiences, collaborate ideas, share differences and involvement with working with young people.

Who can register?
• Anyone is welcome to register to be involved in the 2022 Coffee Trials!
• Please ensure you register by 1st November if you would like to participate


How will individuals be matched?

The process of matching you to another youth worker is easy!
Once you complete this form and send it to the email above, we will work hard at matching you to another individual that is best suited to your time zone and your day/time preferences.
The aim is to match you with another youth worker from a different country, this at times may not be possible due to time zone differences but nonetheless you’ll still be matched to another youth worker!
Once we have matched you to another individual, both participants will receive an email outing that they have been matched based on similar time zones, day/time preferences. Once the initial matching process is complete both participants will also receive an email reminder 1 week prior to their meeting for confirmation.
