Mr. Satoshi SUGIMOTO is the Acting Director, Overseas Environmental Consulting Department EX Research Institute, Co., Ltd. Japan. He has been an environment planning consultant with more than 30 years of experience,  Chief Adviser of JICA Technical Cooperation for Development of Household E-waste Management Mechanism in Malaysia. Mr. Satoshi is a waste management expert under JICA, ADB, the World Bank in many countries in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and other parts of the world.

Recycling is the process of remanufacturing waste materials into new materials. One of the main reasons why recycling is promoted in the waste industry is that it can reduce the burden on the environment by reducing the volume of final waste disposal and preventing waste pollution. This sharing through which can contribute to the achievement of SDGs; SDG 4 (quality education), SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities) and SDG 13 (climate action).
