PyCon US 2022-2023 Travel Grant Committee Application
The PyCon US Travel Grant Committee is seeking new members to shape strategy and support in-person disbursement sessions.  We are looking for applicants for both the PyCon US 2022 and 2023 conferences in Salt Lake City, UT.

If you are interested in joining the Committee, please submit this form by Thursday, October 28.  The Travel Grant Committee will review applications and select applicants who best fit the Committee by mid-October.

Do you have any previous volunteer experience (this does not have to be tech or travel grant related)? If yes, please tell us about your volunteer background. *
Are you able to commit to about 30 hours before the conference for preparation activities?  The Committee has regular meetings before the conference and works asynchronously via email, Slack, and Google docs/sheets to update relevant web pages and forms, as well as award travel grants and review receipts.  Meetings begin in October 2021 and go through  April 2022. *
Are you able to commit to about 12 hours in person and onsite during the conference?  Committee members greet and check-in travel grant recipients during disbursement sessions at PyCon US from April 28 to May 1, 2022.  Both the 2022 and 2023 PyCon US conferences will be held in Salt Lake City, UT.   *
