GSDMC wants to honor educators, that support other educators, who inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to higher achievement in mathematics. GSDMC is asking you to supply a second recommendation from the Administrator/Supervisor point of view, for the candidate. Educator candidates may include:  Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSA’s), teacher supervisors, school site or district level leaders, technology support for the teaching of mathematics, administrators, and others. You should be able to state unequivocally, that “this is one of the two or three best educators in support of mathematics that I have ever known or seen.”

A key part of the process is an Administrator/Supervisor (you) entering a statement in support of a candidate and the information for that candidate and yourself.  You may wish to scroll down and become familiar with the information we need you supply, so after gathering the information needed, you can easily fill it in, in one session.  However, you can enter the information in multiple sessions. At the end of each incomplete session, the system will send you and email with a link to continue the session at later time.

The honorees will be honored at their school sites in the Spring of the 20/21 school year.

Honorees will receive:
- Monetary award of $250 (to be used towards math classroom or professional development)
- commemorative plaque
