Guidelines for Families
* Homework Club will be held in the afternoon for a period of no longer than 30 minutes. If possible, the children will go to a separate quiet area with desks or tables.
* If a child cannot complete their homework during the allotted 30 minutes, they may continue to work on it while at Solutions however it will not have the same atmosphere as the traditional Homework Club.
*Each child must have a submitted Homework Club form. A child's participation is an agreement between the child and their parents/guardians.
* It will be a positive environment. Homework Club should not be a forced activity or unpleasant for any child.
* Solutions will encourage and assist as much as possible with homework by offering resources and support.
* The staff does not take responsibility for the completion of homework. This includes proofreading, revising, or correcting your child's work. Parents/Guardians should check their child's homework daily.
* Solutions Homework Club in no way should take the place of extra help or tutoring.
* Any issues that arise during Homework Club will be addressed by the Site Director to a parent/guardian of the child.
* Homework concerns should be addressed by the parent/guardian to the classroom teacher.
