Security Practices of Smartphone Users at UKZN
Greetings,

You are being invited to consider participating in a study that involves research on the Security Practices of Smartphone Users at UKZN Westville Campus and Its Effects on the Institutional Information Systems. The aim and purpose of this research are to discover factors influencing the security practices of UKZN smartphone users to counter security threats, likewise to investigate how the security practices of UKZN smartphone users are affecting the university's information systems.

The duration of your participation, if you choose to participate and remain in the study, is expected to be about ten minutes. The researcher hopes that the study will create the following benefits; Solution to the existing security practices of student smartphone users that can influence cyber-attacks on UKZN information systems and improving measures that can reduce these attacks.
 
This study has been ethically reviewed and approved by the UKZN Humanities and Social Sciences Research Ethics Committee (approval number: HSSREC/00001150/2020). Your anonymity will be maintained by the researcher and the School of Management, I.T. & Governance and your responses will not be used for any purposes outside of this study.
