Calling all parents with science backgrounds to volunteer to be a mentor for students (3rd to 8th grades) in support of STEM EXPO science fair projects. We are looking for parent volunteers from any Science Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) background (e.g. healthcare, environemental sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering, computer software, data science, physics etc.).
Mentors will review student projects and mentor students on their project over Zoom and email.
Volunteers will be contacted by email for a kick off meeting to go over specific dates and responsibilities.
General Dates:
- Volunteer Kick Off Meeting: Mid Feburary
- Student Mentoring: March and April
- STEM EXPO week: April 15th to April 19th
