We are excited to announce the next series of Distance Learning Webinars to help you as you encounter the challenges of teaching virtually.

Feedback During Distance Learning

1. Soliciting Student Input During Distance Learning
Wednesday, August 26th - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm with Heather Parker
In order to assess student understanding and give them timely, appropriate feedback and adjust instruction during distance learning we need to solicit student input during synchronous instruction in addition to having students submit asynchronous assignments. This session will cover ways to solicit that feedback during your live meetings and optimize how your students turn in asynchronous assignments.

2. Providing Feedback During Distance Learning
Wednesday, September 2nd - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm with Heather Parker
Providing feedback is essential to students achieving desired learning outcomes. During this time of distance learning giving effective feedback is imperative to allowing for the acceleration of learning. This session will cover ways to effectively give and use feedback during distance learning.

3. Considerations When Assessing Students During Distance Learning
Wednesday, September 9th  - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm with Heather Parker
Assessments designed to test knowledge and skills vary widely based on the topic, age of the students, and developmental needs of the students. Conducting assessments in a distance learning environment elicits concerns about test validity and security. During this session we will explore considerations for promoting authentic assessments during distance learning.
