2000+ Indigenous youth from across Alberta are invited to engage in a week of competitive sports, traditional games, special events, education, and cultural connection!

NOTE: There is NO REQUIREMENT FOR ATHLETES, COACHES, OR ANYONE ELSE TO BE VACCINATED (for the Covid 19 Vaccine) to participate in the 2021 Alberta Indigenous Games.

Hand Games (COED) Division: 2011-1999 (Ages 10-22 mixed aged teams)

Athletes are allowed to compete in multiple sports. Monday August 16th is a break day from all of the major team sports (ie Fastpitch Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, Lacrosse, Ball Hockey etc...) for one day sports as we encourage all athletes to try out the sports of Rugby 7's, Beach Volleyball, Cross Country and Handgames which are all free to register and participate in.

If there are not enough registrations for any one division then that specific sport maybe subject to cancellation or modified to play up in a higher division.

All participants under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a chaperone
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATIONS INFORMATION FOR INDIVIDUALS AND TEAMS
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATIONS- June 18th to July 3rd, 2021 at 11:59pm is Deadline

Registration for INDIVIDUALS for the sports of Basketball, Ball Hockey, Baseball, Fastpitch Softball, Golf, Lacrosse, Volleyball is $80 per athlete per sport. All individuals will be put on teams.  

Registration for INDIVIDUALS for the sport of Soccer is just $40.

For the sports of Rugby 7's, Beach Volleyball, Cross Country and Handgames, there is NO REGISTRATION FEE to participate and compete for medals in each sport however athlete registering for free won't get a SWAG BAG (Consisting of AIG T-Shirt, AIG Knapsack, AIG Bottle of Water, AIG Souvenir Program,  AIG Sticker and other gifts from sponsors). However the athletes for the sports of Rugby 7's, Beach Volleyball, Cross Country, and Handgames can register and pay $20 and get an AIG SWAG Bag.

Registrations for Teams for the Sport of 18 Hole Golf is just $250 per team.
