Homemade Masks Initiative
The Public Health Agency of Canada has recently recommended that the general public wear non-medical face masks, especially in settings where social distancing can be difficult (eg. Grocery stores, public transit). To alleviate public demand for medical masks, we aim to create and distribute homemade cloth face masks for frontline non-medical support workers and vulnerable populations, with the goal of expanding production capacity to provide masks to the general public.

1) We are accepting donations for fabric and coffee filter paper.

2) We are seeking seamstresses or tailors who would like to join our cause

3) We are also looking for drivers who can deliver our mask orders.

This project is organized by UBC medical students. We thank you for your support!
