Love in a Time of Corona with Kavitha Rao
"Our minds are still racing back and forth, longing for a return to “normality”, trying to stitch our future to our past and refusing to acknowledge the rupture. But the rupture exists...
Historically, pandemics have forced humans to break with the past and imagine their world anew. This one is no different. It is a portal, a gateway between one world and the next."
--Arundhati Roy

As we watch the world changing around us...how are we changing with it?

Ayurvedic wisdom teaches us that in order to ensure proper immunity during challenging times, we must build our agni (digestive fire) and learn ways to bring excess stress back into balance.  Please join me next week for morning practice.  I have taught yoga for 18 years, and will be integrating meditation, pranayama, qigong, and other practices that I have found helpful in strengthening my lungs and immune system and in working with grief, anxiety, and my own fear and resistance to change and letting go.

My intention is for the class to be accessible to beginners as well as seasoned yogis.  Join me for one day or every day, as it fits your schedules and needs.  All are welcome.. I’ll share a 45 min practice and then I’ll stay on after to answer any questions or to create space for you to share what’s on your heart or mind.
10am ET/7am PT  Wed. April 15 - Sunday April 19, 2020

Please sign in 5 min early so we can start on time.  I ask that everyone stay on mute once the practice begins until it ends.  There will be time at the end for conversation if you choose to stay.   If you have a yoga mat please bring it and whatever will help you be comfortable for sitting -- pillows or a folded blanket or yoga blocks or even a chair if you prefer.
