2019 ICUL Award Nomination Form Cooperative Spirit Award (Professional)
The Cooperative Spirit Award was created in 1992 to recognize individuals who have shown outstanding service, commitment and leadership in the credit union movement.  In 1997, two categories for this award - Professional and Volunteer - were created to better recognize the specific contributions of each.

Eligibility for Award
Nominations for the award will be taken from anyone active in the credit union movement. The leadership of the Iowa Credit Union League Board of Directors will judge nominations and present the award at the Iowa Credit Union Convention in September. Nominees must be from credit unions who are full members of ICUL.
Judging Criteria
Nominations will be judged on the following criteria:
-Demonstration of outstanding service, commitment and leadership in the credit union community.
-Participation in organized activities that promote the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and promotion of credit unions as good corporate citizens.
-Involvement in strengthening the credit union community by differentiating credit unions from other financial institutions.
-Demonstration of extraordinary effort and exceeding the basic expectations of a credit union leader.
