We are only permitted by West Sussex County Council to administer Paracetamol and Antihistamine or medication which has  been prescribed for the child by a doctor.  Parents are of course contacted about anything other than minor grazes/problems.  It is not school policy to administer medicine such as prescribed antibiotics, cough medicine, etc as on a three times daily dose it is possible to plan administration before and after school and bedtime.
