Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Somerville Winter Farmers Market!

The market runs every Saturday from November 4th through April 6th, except November 25th, and December 30th. We are looking for 5-10 volunteers every Saturday to help the market run smoothly. The Saturday shift run anywhere from 7:30 am-2:30 pm.

Volunteer jobs include:
- Set up/ Break down the market
- Manager booth support and vendor support (selling merchandise, answering customer questions, etc.)
- Welcoming guests, directing guests
- Counting guest attendance
- Take photos during the market and create social media content
- Help with translation/interpretation assistance -- looking for folks who speak multiple languages

Priority will be given to volunteers who sign up for a greater number of shifts. Volunteer spaces will be filled on a rolling basis. Once you have completed this form, we will send out a spreadsheet with market dates where you can sign up for specific dates.

Volunteer 7: 1:30 pm - take donated produce to community fridge(s) *car required

Volunteer 8: 8-9 am or 1-2 pm - help with vendor traffic

We are also looking for a few folks with specific skills in social media, marketing, photography, and translation/interpretation. Please let us know if you have these skills and would like to be involved in supporting our community below.
