Mission:

Sober Livers' mission is to empower individuals diagnosed with alcohol-associated liver disease(s) (ALD(s)) and those who have had a transplant due to alcohol by supporting them in discovering and embracing their personalized alcohol recovery journey while offering guidance through the complexities of managing their condition.

Purpose:

No human diagnosed with alcohol-associated liver disease(s) or who have had a transplant due to alcohol should endure the complexities of this journey in solitude; Sober Livers is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where individuals are empowered to reclaim their agency, fostering their unique alcohol recovery pathways and navigating the intricacies of their condition with the compassionate support of peers, mentors, comprehensive education, and access to essential external resources.
