Program Application for EF Travel with Village Home
Traveling with friends as a teen is an adventure of a lifetime! We are offering an opportunity for a group of lucky teens to go to the Dominican Republic together. These trips are fast-paced, and full of learning and activities, but there is also some “open” unstructured time built in to explore the regions we are visiting.  Your application must be accepted in order to register for a trip with Village Home.

What are the prerequisites for this program?

This program is open to learners who will be at least 14 by the date of travel AND at least a 9th grader. Keep in mind, this trip is designed for high school Juniors and Seniors. You need to be ready to travel as a group and show motivation to learn about other cultures. There will be mandatory meetings prior to the trip that must be attended.

Who should not apply for this program?

Learners with behavioral, physical, or emotional issues that would preclude them from participating in a fast-paced trip or traveling independently should not apply. Learners who are experiencing or being treated for drug or alcohol dependence, eating disorders, anxiety or depression disorders, or other psychological disorders that might interfere with the program, or learners who have been treated for or experienced any of these issues within the past 24 months should not apply. Learners with life-threatening allergies, or acute medical conditions should not apply.
