The annual York CMS postgraduate conference is an opportunity for PhD and master's students to showcase their research, bringing together postgraduate medievalists from all over the country to discuss the future directions of the field. It promises to be an engaging day, hosted in the medieval King's Manor in the beautiful city of York. Topics that will be presented on are varied and diverse, from medievalism in the Victorian period, to saints' lives, to Norse poetry. Registration is free, although delegates will need to bring their own lunch, or go into town to eat at lunchtime; we will happily point you in the direction of lunch spots on the day. There will be coffee and tea provided during breaks (feel free to bring your own reusable cup!).
