Dear Year 5 and Year 6 Parents
I am aware that as your child matures he/she may wish to walk to or from school on his/her own.

As in previous years I am asking you to inform the school if your child is walking to or from school without an adult accompanying them. If your child is ill, or has a medical appointment, or (for Year 6 children) is visiting a Secondary School, please ensure that the school is informed BEFORE 9.00AM AT THE LATEST.

Should your child not arrive and we do not know the reason for his/her absence, the school will telephone you, but please be mindful that this is extremely time consuming for the busy Office team and is also an important safeguarding matter. Therefore please do not abuse this service – it is all for the sake of your children’s safety.

Please complete the form below, if it is applicable to your child, and return it to school as soon as possible. Should the arrangements change during the year, again please inform the school immediately. Help us to keep your children safe.
