Pre-order Native Plant Packs
Thank you for pre-ordering your native plant packs.  The cost for each 25 plant kit will be $75.

Within each pack you will receive 25 native plant plugs. The five species included in the kits are Butterflyweed (Asclepias tuberosa), Pearly everlasting (Anaphalis margaritacea), Cardinal flower (Lobelia cardinalis), Purple lovegrass (Eragrostis spectabilis), and Red columbine (Aquilegia canadensis). The plant species selected for our kits have been chosen due to their need for wider distribution, benefit to pollinators (as nectar and/or host plant), and their aesthetic appeal. We will also offer some Bobex (a natural repellent containing concentrated scents to deter browsing mammals) to spray on your young plants to help them survive.

Butterflyweed (Asclepias tuberosa) - pollinator host plant with lovely flowers.
Pearly Everlasting (Anaphalis margaritacea)- host plant for American lady butterflies.
Cardinal flower (Lobelia cardinalis) - nectar source for butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Lovely flowers.
Purple lovegrass (Eragrostis spectabilis) - popular with insect herbivores and birds use it for nesting. Provides erosion control and is deer resistant.
Red columbine (Aquilegia canadensis) - Early bloomer that attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.  Host to the Columbine duskywing butterfly. Finches and buntings eat the seeds.
