Lucky’s Cat House Volunteer Form
We appreciate your interest in Lucky’s Cat House and share your desire to make the world a better place for animals. It is our hope that you will find your volunteer experience at Lucky’s Cat House enjoyable and rewarding. You can be certain that your contribution is truly appreciated by the board of directors and of course all of the kitties. Our volunteer opportunities are plentiful and include hands on with the cats and other supportive roles.
Hands on programs include working with the kitties- Grooming, socializing, cleaning, and transporting to and from veterinary appointments.TNR(Trap Neuter and Release) assistance. For those who choose not to work directly with the animals other volunteer jobs include helping with office work, fundraising, donations transporting and assisting in other special projects that arise during the year.
Whether you can contribute an hour a year or an hour a day, we hope you’ll join our group of cat loving volunteers.
Our Mission is to reduce the number of homeless, abused, and abandoned cats and improve their quality of life by providing exceptional care and finding them forever homes in Giles, Lincoln and Marshall Counties in Tennessee and surrounding areas.
Our Adoption program will ensure all cats are fully vetted, vaccinated, fixed and ready to live a long, happy life with their new family.
We emphasize the importance of Spay and Neutering to control the cat population by educating the public on resources and programs available. We will begin spay and neuter programs to offer low cost/free fixing to the animals in our surrounding communities in partnership with our veterinarians.
We encourage and assist with trap and release programs to find safe environments for feral cats.
Our goal through these initiatives is to find homes for all cats through adoptions or placement with our approved rescue partners and safe relocation of feral cats.
