AP Fee Waivers Reporting Form
The New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) strongly believes that all students should have equal access to the full benefit of Advanced Placement® (AP) coursework. AP students do college-level work in high school; if they score a three or higher on the AP exam, they can earn college credit. NMPED will again cover a large portion of the exam fee for eligible students under the College Board’s AP Exam Fee Reduction guidelines, resulting in a total cost to students of $3 per exam. Students must individually qualify for the AP exam fee reduction regardless of the district/school Community Eligibility Provision or Title I status.

To support budget allocation for the 2024 AP Exam Fee Waivers, please complete this form to report the number of AP exams ordered from the College Board for the fall reporting window by November 15, 2023. Only report the number of exams that will have reduced fees. Do not include a count for AP Exams that the fee waiver will not cover. You may change your students’ fee status with College Board until March 15, 2024
