Description:

Join us in creating a sacred container for queer magic to unfold. We welcome the exploration of queer spirituality, group connection, and will travel the mystery realms with the support of two psychotherapists.

This group is for those interested in understanding their own spiritual life, growing their connection to self and other, accessing healing from the impact of dominant and oppressive religious systems, and reclaiming one’s birth right to sovereign spiritual expression and direct relationship to the numinous.

This event is a non-residential retreat that includes the use of ketamine to access expanded states of consciousness. It is designed to support people at all levels of experience in doing spiritual work.

About the facilitators:
Shanna Butler, PhD (she/they) is a Licensed Psychologist in private practice offering depth, somatic, and psychedelic psychotherapy as well as a professor at California Institute of Integral Studies. Shanna's research interests pertain to archetypal and alchemical theories of gender identities, psychedelic psychotherapy, trauma recovery and growth, and the use of ritual in therapeutic spaces. Her recent publications include chapters in the edited collection Queering Psychedelics: From Oppression to Liberation in Psychedelic Medicine and Integral Psychedelic Therapy: The Non-Ordinary Art of Psychospiritual Healing. Shanna identifies as queer, genderqueer, femme, witch, and intuitive healer. Her magical mission is to support the reunification of one’s psyche and soma with the unseen realms all around us. Through the use of deep listening, intuition, divination, and connection with beloved ancestors and allies, Shanna invites healing that creates movement towards greater connection with self and all the worlds. She believes that inner and outer change is possible when we centralize justice for all beings as the beacon of our healing path. You can learn more about Shanna here: www.shannabutler.com.

Drawing from her work as a practicing somatic and psychedelic psychotherapist, she consults and speaks internationally on issues related to the treatment of sexual trauma. Her work focuses on defining sexual violence through a spiritual and politicized lens, mentoring healing practitioners in creating a meaningful path, and supporting the spiritual integrity of our collective humanity.
