コミュニティにおいてアートが果たす役割は、現代アートにおいて大きな議論のポイントとなっています。本ミーティングでは、「地域性」と関連付けられがちな「コミュニティ」の概念を超えて、今ある現実に応答するために、舞台芸術を作る側、支える側の視点から、社会における多様な芸術のあり方を考えます。

The role that the arts play in communities has been a major point of discussion in contemporary arts. In this meeting, beyond the notion of how “community” is currently defined, which is more often connected to the locality, the speakers will reconsider the multiple roles of the arts in society from the perspective of those who create and support performing arts to respond to their current realities.
