ATTENDANCE:
With the fast moving nature of this class, we need to enforce a somewhat stricter attendance policy than other classes. If a student misses more than once their position in the cast will be in jeopardy. This class will culminate in 4 performances, and with our limited rehearsal time we need every cast member present to ensure quality. Emergencies do happen, we need to specify that is not what we are referring to. We simply need to ensure that attendance becomes a priority so that the quality of the show does not suffer due to students being habitually absent.

COST:
Cost: $220 per student
*Additional siblings may attend for $110 per sibling.
A PayPal invoice will be sent to you the same day of the Cast List Announcement, not before.

As to the age restriction of this class, we will be offering a very similar performance class for our younger students in the spring, and we want to give performances opportunities to each age group.

FALL SEMESTER COVID-19 Protocols:
The following protocols come directly from the GTC board, producers, and company as a whole. These are the same protocols we are observing for mainstage productions.

These are subject to change, we will let y'all know immediately if and when they do.

Our focus this year has been to prevent death and serious illness while ensuring we have as many shows as safely possible. While the overall numbers of Covid have risen, the deaths and hospital capacity remain steady. In addition, every person ages 6 months and older now have the capacity to be fully vaccinated.
With all of the above, this is the new policy effective Saturday, July 30:
 1. If you are Covid + you must isolate for 5 days and may return to rehearsals or performances wearing a mask at all times for an additional 5 days as long as you are asymptomatic.
 2. There is no testing requirement regardless of vaccination status.
 3. There is no masking requirement regardless of vaccination status.
 4. The Covid committee can reinstate the previous policy at any time given current circumstances.
 5. If testing must resume, cast and crew members must supply their own tests.
 6. Please contact your Stage Manager prior to testing and they will confer with the Covid mitigation team.

As always please contact our Academy Director, Matt Beutner, at (940) 231-5068 by text or phone, or email at academy@granburytheatrecompany.org with any questions and concerns.
