This year, the Civic Advocacy Group will be learning about influence and change in communities and social systems. Students will determine issues that are important to them and lead teams that will lobby for those issues during the 2023 legislative session in Utah. There will be additional units that focus on the Theory of Change, international influence, and, pending funding and identifying specific dates, we hope to take students on a funded trip to Washington D.C.

Group meetings will most likely be on Tuesday evenings starting the first week of October, with additional meetings as needed after students break into smaller teams.
