Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Word is Bond In my Shoes walking tours! We are looking for eager individuals to help staff our busy month of events.

Volunteers are needed to help with greeters, sign-in tables, merchandise table, cross guards during the tour, and more. Each shift is three hours and a half hours, covering both tours of an individual neighborhood. Please complete this form and a staff member will follow up with you.

Requirements for volunteers are the ability to be outside in February Portland weather for the duration of the event and engage with diverse members of the community. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds and abilities to participate and are excited to support our youth leaders for their tours and work in environments with many people and moving pieces.

Please select the tour you would like to volunteer for. Each tour volunteer shift lats three and a half hours approximately. You can sign up for more than one tour. Tours will be assigned at a first come first serve basis. Doing both tours in the day is possible, we will follow up with you to discuss your role. Please only sign up for tours you know you can attend. *
